speed Jigsaw puzzling
Oct. 17 | 7 PM
Join us at The Sip on the 3rd Friday of each month for speed puzzling! It’s a fast-paced, team-based puzzle race with prizes, drinks, and guaranteed fun. Spots go quick – snag your tickets and we’ll see you there.
How to play:
- Teams of up to four compete to finish a new puzzle every month, the fastest
- Top two winning teams score a gift certificate from Puzzledly.com, a gift card from The Sip, and the glory
- All finishers are entered into our national ranking database

Got a group of 5? Sure – but that’ll cost you 10 extra minutes on your finish time.
Flying solo? Grab a Puzzle Pairing ticket and we’ll connect you with an open team (if they’re game).
COOKIE DECORATING

Join us for a cozy, creative evening of Christmas-themed cookie decorating at The Sip! Learn how to decorate beautiful holiday cookies. No experience needed!
This beginner-friendly class includes all supplies: icing, decorating tools, half dozen medium cookies (adults) or one extra-large cookie and four extra small cookies (kids) and take-home boxes for your tasty creations.
$40 for adults | $30 for ages 17 and under.
Come for the cookies, stay for the fun and tasty beverages - perfect for friends, families, or anyone who loves a little Christmas cheer and creativity!
LIVE MUSIC
Sept 3 | 6:15 PM
The Boosters is a local Kitsap band that plays a wide variety of original and bluegrass/rock/alternative country-style songs. They are Michael (drums), Craig (upright bass), and Chris (vocals and guitar.) This will be a great night of live music with a set list that ranges from Springsteen to Bille Ellish. The Boosters will be playing from 6:15-8:30pm.

Every Seahawks game, we'll feature Matchless Brewing "Cheap Beer" for just $.25 ounce, that's $4 for a pint of beer! Plus, free kids size lemonade for every tap card open (1 per kid, max 3 kids).
LEGO CHALLENGE
SEPT 13 | 12 PM
Grab a partner, open the mystery set, and race to build it before the other teams. Fastest correct build wins a prize and every team takes its Lego set home. Three age categories:
Little Builders: Ages 5–8, 75–125 piece Lego set
$22 per team of two, includes kids lemonade
Junior Builders: Ages 9–12, 150–225 piece Lego set
$32 per team of two, includes kids lemonade
Big Kids & Adults: Ages 13+, 300–375 piece Lego set
$45 per team of two
Teams can be two kids, a kid and an adult or two adults.

Dust off those boots and grab your friends, we’re bringing the honky tonk vibes to The Sip! Join us for an upbeat evening of line dancing lessons + open floor fun with the crew from One More Time Line Dancing.
$20 at the door includes:
- 1.5 hours of lessons & dancing
- Your first drink on us (house wine, beer, cider, or NA)
Additional drinks & food available for purchase.
No partner needed, all levels welcome - just come ready to move and sip and pay when you arrive.

The Gin Creek Trio last performed at The Sip during the Poulsbo Blues and Jazz festival and are back - no ticket required this time! This trio is keyboards, vocals, and guitar playing a mix of blues and jazz.

Music Bingo (Mingo) is a fun and interactive music game where players listen to short song clips and mark them off on their bingo cards. No music knowledge required — phones and Shazam are welcome! It’s a fun, low-pressure, all-ages-friendly way to enjoy great music, food, and drinks at The Sip.
Free to play, two rounds (about an hour each) and a chance to win prizes. Usually the 2nd & 4th Sundays of each month, but we had to move this one because we have a private event on the 2nd Sunday.

wine fundamentals

Ever wonder what people actually mean when they say a wine is “full-bodied,” “high-acid,” or “tannic”? This approachable, hands-on class takes the intimidation out of wine tasting and gives you an easy framework for understanding what’s in your glass.
During this one-hour class, you’ll taste and compare four different wines while learning how to evaluate wine by sight, smell, and taste. We’ll explore acidity, sweetness, tannin, body, alcohol, aromas, and finish—and, most importantly, help you figure out what you like and why.
No wine knowledge is needed. This class is designed for anyone who wants to feel more confident tasting, ordering, and talking about wine.

MAHJONG 101

A beginner-friendly night where you’ll learn the basics of this classic tile game that’s having a major comeback.
Mahjong is a fast-paced, social game played with beautifully illustrated tiles. Think of it as a mix of strategy, pattern recognition and luck.
During this class we’ll cover the foundations so you can confidently sit down and play, including:
• What Mahjong is and how the game works
• How to read the Mahjong card
• What to pass during the Charleston
• When to call tiles
• How to actually understand what you’re doing while playing
All materials provided (tiles, racks, cards).

Poulsbo Beer Run is back Saturday, Oct. 3 from 9-12pm, and we’re teaming up with
Hood Canal Brewery as our featured brewery. Grab your tickets and run, walk or crawl the 4.1 mile route featuring 6 local breweries, including The Sip!

The Sip is also doing a pretzel pop up behind the Viking statue on Viking Ave & Finn Hill Rd. Plan your stop to refuel with one of our warm bavarian pretzels served with Beechers flagship cheese sauce and bavarian sweet and spicy mustard. We'll also be selling chips and water bottles.
